Biddy Bags
A boutique social enterprise that connects young women, socially isolated nannas and mature-aged ladies through craft, economic participation and social networking. Biggy Bags designs and manufactures unique hand-crafted bags for women.
SpeakOut supports Biddy Bags through mentoring and pro-bono Creative Design.
Blackall Shire Council
The provider of facilities and services that enhance the lifestyle, and promote economic, social and cultural development in consultation with the local communities.
Blackall Shire Council is partnering with SpeakOut to support the development of services and facilities that will offer creative pathways and industries development throughout the Central West Region.
Blackstar Coffee
A boutique social enterprise that imports, roasts and brews fairtrade organic coffee.
SpeakOut supports Blackstar Coffee through pro-bono Creative Design, brand management and marketing support.
Brisbane City Council
The largest local government body in the Southern Hemisphere, Brisbane City Council partner with SpeakOut through:
- Reduced cost lease agreement for our office and facilities on Ann Street, Brisbane; and,
- Preferred supplier status in graphic design and multimedia services
The Lord Mayor’s Community Trust has also provided financial support on a number of occasions to SpeakOut's Core Programs.
Brisbane North Institute of TAFE (BNIT)
One of the most successful public providers of vocational education and training in Queensland, BNIT has 6 campuses that serve over 30,000 students from across Brisbane's CBD, northern districts, and targeted international markets. The Institute is committed to flexible and customised training through on-campus initiatives, and workplace and work-based delivery.
SpeakOut partners with BNIT to deliver accredited training for young people experiencing disadvantage.
Education Foundation
Is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that supports young Australians by funding and facilitating innovation in public schools.
SpeakOut is partnering with the Education Foundation to deliver the “r u making a difference?” program in schools throughout Queensland.
Queensland Government
SpeakOut partners with a number of State government departments to deliver a range of programs and services, including:
- Orbit and SpeakOut Traineeship [Dept. of Employment and Industrial Relations]
- Stylin’ UP Regional [Arts Queensland, Dept. of Housing – Community Renewal, Dept. of Communities]
- Creative Pathways in the Central West [Arts Queensland, Dept. of Communities]
Queensland University of Technology (QUT)
A leading and innovative University with a vision to be a destination of choice for high quality staff and students, known for excellence in real world teaching, research and service; deep engagement with the communities they serve; and the capacity of graduates to work effectively in a changing and internationalised workplace.
QUT partner with SpeakOut through the support of Orbit, research practice, and student placement that offers specific expertise to build the capacity of the organisation.
Translink
The provider of a single, coordinated public transport network covering South East Queensland.
TransLink is working with SpeakOut and young people participating in SpeakOut programs to ensure that transport is not a barrier to their participation.
XSProject Australia
XSProject started as an artist's expression against the impact of consumerism on the environment. The company uses design and education to clean up the environment and help Indonesia’s poor.
XSProject Australia is partnering with SpeakOut to more effectively market its products nation-wide and to develop a scholarship program that will support young people in Indonesia to regularly attend school.
